25th Week & Graduation
拖了爆久的, 處理印度照片時發現還有這些, 科科
在Wedding Cake unit, Pastry II是我們的客戶, 我們得應他們的要求做wedding cake
他們決定了在Bora Bora的婚禮, 還有orchid
我想說大家一定都是走高雅白色風, 所以就來做個卡通風的蛋糕
有小鳥, 肥大的椰子樹, 海洋, 沙灘, flip flops, 啊還有他們要的orchids
哈哈我實在是很不愛做這種蛋糕, 沒有那個耐心擠花之類的
最後的大考是用lottery方式抽籤決定每個人要做的東西
另外還要做個stand放那些點心, 呼, 我實在很痛恨做這種浪費時間的東西, 每個pastry chef是一輩子會做幾次showpiece呀, 在學校六個月的時間, 連這個我們就做了四個showpiece, 連我工作地方的老闆都說那實在是無意義 
我最後呈現給評審的小盤子
Fruit danish, bonbon, fruit strip, cat’s tongue
很開心我的bonbon光澤很漂亮
Showpiece主題是My Favorite Thing about New York
原本很想做我老公, 不過好像會有點creepy, 所以就做了中央公園with sad horses
實在是蠻醜的, 不過at this point, as long as it stands, I’m fine with it.
所以就順利的畢業啦

新年好。
看樣子Yufei在虎年的行程滿滿，祝幸福滿滿，喜洋洋過一整年。^_^
Yufei的點甜都很有Yufei風，很別緻。
期待印度行的照片。^_^

沒有啦 我們後來回去 只有補辦宴客而已 不過也折騰整晚 因為印度party都是晚上九點才開始啊 一直通霄到半夜 這些人又愛跳舞 跳個不停 簡直累慘喔 後來還有很多親戚辦宴會請我們 她們真的愛party 和很多人的聚會呢 我還是喜歡安靜的美式生活啊

I found your site from 廚房裡的人類學家 . Congratulation! After reading your site, I’m very exciting. I was planning to take course at FCI long time ago. But never have time until now. However, I’m undecided what classes I will take, should I get a degree or just take some amateur class. I have some many questions to you. Like what make you to take the courses, what do you do after this..Are you going to be a Pastry Chef? in a Restaurant? or a Bakery ? Well, I’m not sure if I want to be a Pastry Chef…I become so happy when I am in the kitchen. I mostly make a big feast, just few dessert,Will that be very hard? Am I going to gain weight? after so much tasting…

我也剛從”廚房裡的人類學家”輾轉發現了你的部落格,讀得很起勁. 很興奮地發現我們相似的背景–同樣從台灣來紐約讀書,因為結婚的緣故而留了下來. 我對作菜一向頗有興趣,和樓上那位一樣想請教在紐約學烹飪的問題. 不知道曼哈頓哪裡可以找到開給業餘者,非full-time的義大利烹飪課程?謝謝!

Min-Ying: 歡迎! 哈哈還真有趣, FCI有義大利烹飪課程, 在課程後面還到義大利去住一兩個月之類的說, 不過不是業餘的, 業餘的可能就是要拿課吧, 看看ICE的網站, 他們有很多娛樂課程喔
