The 4th Week
I can’t believe it that it’s been a month of my life with flour and butter. This week, we had our second written/practical exam. I finished my practical just one minute before the time was up – scary. Also the new unit – Pâte feuilletée (puff pastry) has started. It’s a two-week unit. I cannot imagine how much weight am I going to put on after all these goodies.

衝著它antioxidant一直買回家當飯吃
水果這種東西真的是要產期時吃
藍莓個個各頭很大又飽滿, 甜份又高
原本嫌藍莓無味, 到今年才真正體會到藍莓的美妙
大盛產的結果就是每有時機就做blueberry tart

I met Hsiao-Chian and Tammy in CMU. We loved hanging out or having dinner at Hsiao-Chian’s place. This is our first time getting together since graduation. I love girls’ time together!!!

烤海鮮起司捲佐奶油茴香 Fishloaf with creamed fennel

I have a thing for seafood quenelle. Since I saw Iceheartbel’s Rôti de saumon tournedos st-jacques aux fenouils, I couldn’t stop thinking about making it. So according to her description, I came up with this recipe.
1. For the mixture:
In a food processor, mix 12 oz haddock, 12 oz salmon, 5 oz scallop and S&P together. When it’s done, fold in 3 oz (could be more) of chopped scallops, then form it into a log like this:
