搬家搬家啦
也許人覺得奇怪
在紐約住的好好的幹嘛搬到Brooklyn去
我是很喜歡原本的neighborhood
上西區 沒事就可以去中央公園晃一下散個步
附近又有超多supermarket 有Zabars, 要不WholeFoods也很近
晚上去Lincoln Center聽個音樂會 回家也不遠
重點還有個品質還不錯的平價壽司店
對我們超好的waitress 讓我們幾乎每個禮拜都要去報到

但是 Studio實在是不適合夫婦居住
沒有隔間的廚房讓我很不愛煮飯
兩個closets實在也很不夠裝
還有重點是 futon睡的還是沒有床的舒服
所以大約在五月時我們就決定一定要搬離這個apt

Last saturday we went to the Mitsuwa Market and got lots of tasty things, eel, sashimi chutoro and sashimi hamachi among them. The following day Yufei made sushi. We had a bunch of rolls, all a variation of mother and cousin*. My favorite was the spicy hamachi roll – cucumber strips, scallion, salmon roe, spicy sauce (cod roe + mayo – who knew that cod roe is spicy?!) and yellow tail. The tuna roll had salmon roe and scallion. There were also two eel rolls with slightly different combinations of salmon roe, fake crab meat, carrot, cucumber, scallion and certainly avocado. Yufei’s sushi rolling methods are improving, the tasty tubes come out more evenly shaped and tightly wrapped.

Yufei cooks tasty things. There is nary a dish that she creates that isn’t appetizing. The last post was about home-made sushi, I was really impressed by it. Today was our 3-mo anniversary and she had something nice in mind for it.
