chinatown produce

I’m very proud of finding this in Chinatown the other day. We already fried one and it was surprisingly good, so I went back to get another.

It’s Taiwanese mountain cabbage, I thought I’d be next year before I had any more.

It should be noted that Yufei absolves herself of any responsibility of possibly mis-identifying this cabbage as the mountain kind, it’s a conclusion I came to based on shape and taste.
