DC – Poste

去年來DC時來過這裡吃brunch
好像印象還不差, 記得是個漂亮的餐廳
懶得在找餐廳就再度來這裡吃中餐

一打開菜單去年的回憶就都浮上來了
連我當時掙扎著想要點什麼都想了起來
只不過, 過了一年這餐廳竟然還是用都沒變的菜單真還是奇異

麵包們

我的”早餐” Housemade Doughnuts

裡面有包chocolate ganache, lemon curd, or blueberry compote, 新鮮的炸甜甜圈沒話講, 只不過這個很不甜, 連裡面的餡也不大甜, 還第一次在美國餐廳遇到這樣奇景

mike的”早餐” Granola Parfait with fresh yogurt chantilly cream

小屁的french onion soup

很失敗的洋蔥湯, 指出現一點點的cheese很讓人失望, 湯本身有點酸酸, 讓我們懷疑是本身酸還是壞掉了… :(

我的Eggs Hussarde, crisp potato skins, poached eggs, merchand de vin sauce, nueske bacon

基本上就是個變種的班乃迪克蛋, 把english muffin變成馬鈴薯, 把canadian bacon換成普通培根, 就套句老話, 濃稠蛋黃液流下來都蠻好吃

mike的Croque Madame, mornay sauce, sunny side up egg, pomme frites

這我覺得麵包有點不妙, 不喜歡

小屁的Farm Egg Omelette, organic cheddar, wild mushrooms, fines herbs

甜點們

Sprecher Root Beer Semifreddo*, new morning farm’s apricots

剛在甜甜圈旁出現的那一小杯的root beer很好喝, 讓我們想說點這來試試看, 恩, 除去中間那塊東西以外都還蠻好吃的

Chocolate Pot de Créme, espresso, chili, milk jam, fresh cream

這個味道還不賴, 有點辣椒味的咖啡巧克力”布丁”, 不過這個口感我很不愛, 感覺是沒有加蛋, 煮一煮加玉米粉之類讓它凝起來, 應該要叫他jello版的chocolate pudding

Poste的菜單看起來是都還蠻不錯
不過服務很慢, 菜色雖然漂亮可是不見得好吃
想佈道去哪裡吃, 來這裡吃個一次沒有採到地雷的話應該還是ok的
